| SPV completed an order for a Brunei customer: 2 sets of 10 CBM garbage compactor bodies in October 2019. The client will fit these bodies onto right-hand-drive Mitsubishi chassis.
SPV has extensive experience exporting compactor superstructures. Back in 2016, we supplied 8 garbage compactor bodies to Myanmar as CKD kits. Local assembly was carried out under on-site guidance from our engineers. For this Brunei project, the client’s Mitsubishi chassis has a short wheelbase of only 3680 mm, while the standard requirement for this 10 CBM compactor body normally ranges from 3950 mm to 4500 mm. Our engineers invested substantial effort in custom design to guarantee reliable build quality. We selected a durable Italian brand for the hydraulic multi-way valve. Given the wide variety of waste bins used in Brunei, we engineered a multifunctional bin lifter. It can handle:
After full fabrication, we mounted the bodies on test chassis to complete functional testing. To fit into 40’ HQ containers, the tailgate and bin lifter were disassembled. Loading these irregular-shaped components was challenging. Our loading team successfully completed container stuffing using cranes and forklifts. |
