On May 27, 2019, SPV dispatched 4 units of SINOTRUK van trucks to Latin America, including 3 isothermal box trucks and 1 refrigerated van truck. All trucks are painted white and designated for urban food transportation.
3 Units of SINOTRUK Isothermal Box TrucksThese three isothermal box trucks share the same heavy-duty SINOTRUK chassis as the refrigerated truck, delivering reliable performance for local urban food distribution.
The insulated cargo box is constructed with fiberglass panels and 80mm thick polyurethane foam insulation, effectively slowing heat exchange to keep cargo temperature stable during transit. Aluminium trim reinforces all box edges for anti-collision protection. The floor uses anti-slip aluminium alloy checkered plate to prevent goods from sliding. The box body is equipped with two fully-opening rear doors and one side access door, fitted with corrosion-resistant stainless steel hinges and locks. Unlike refrigerated trucks with cooling machines, these isothermal vans rely purely on the insulated box structure to maintain the natural temperature of goods. They are ideal for transporting groceries, fruits and vegetables that only require heat insulation without active refrigeration. |
