MAN double-cabin fire fighting truck shows in Nanjing city, China
A normal truck usually has one cabin. Nanjing fire brigade, China recently introduced a special fire fighting truck with double cabins. It is of MAN brand. It can drive from whichever cabin – front or rear. The main cabin has double rows of seats with 6 people seating capacity, the auxiliary cabin has only single row for 2 peoples.

This double-cabin fire fighting truck has a water tank of 2,000 liters capacity. It is all wheel drive, which maximally reduces the turning radius, especially suitable for flexible working in narrow lanes. It is said there are less than 10 units of such fire fighting trucks in Asia. It is very expensive, costing around US$1,500,000.

The leader of Nanjing fire brigade told our reporter that due to there are so many old lanes in Nanjing, once fire occurs, big fire fighting truck has difficulty to get into the narrow lanes. More difficult to make steering in such narrow circumstances. This double-cabin fire fighting truck solves this problem. In narrow lanes, we can switch to use another auxiliary cabin to drive out, no need to make steering.

Fire fighting truck (also called fire truck, fire engine, fire fighting water tank truck, water fighting truck) is used to distinguish the fire quickly to prevent fire spread. It has many types. The most common types are water fire fighting truck and water/foam fire fighting truck.
